Style and Technique is the manner in which you personally or as a couple conduct yourself and execute your steps while on the dance floor. Everyone has their own style which allows them to enjoy the dance without trying to emulate someone else. We have enough to worry about without trying to be someone else. Technique is the manner in which we do it. We would all like to be the Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers of the Shag Community but were not. Just be yourself.
